Estimate / Quote Terms
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Subject to site inspection before commencement.
Any additional work outside the listed scope will be charged.
Work will only begin upon written approval.
Quotation excludes floor levelling or repairs unless stated.
Work completed per manufacturer’s specs.
AJF holds all insurances and complies with OH&S and QA systems.
Licensed contractor.
No furniture movement included.
Workmanship complies with ASA.
Payment for materials required before installation begins.
10% deposit required (non-refundable).
Payment breakdown: 10% deposit, 60% materials & installation, 30% on completion.

Site Conditions
Site must be clear and ready with access, lighting, and no other trades.
Unsafe conditions may delay or suspend work.
Moisture changes or parking issues may impact schedule.
Photos of existing damages will be taken before work begins.
Flooring Process
Installation & Sanding:
Moisture content may delay start.
Some dust, wall markings, or board colour variation may occur.
Fillings:
Nail holes and board ends filled.
Expansion gaps not filled due to natural movement.
Colouring & Coating:
Sample colours may vary due to lighting and timber.
3 sealant coats standard unless stated otherwise.
Re-colouring will be charged separately.
Non-floor Areas:
Extra features like stairs or sills must be quoted and approved.
Drying & Curing:
Standard drying time is 24 hrs per coat, up to 4 days to cure fully.
Quotation & Payments
Quotes valid for 30 days.
AJF may revise price before delivery for unforeseen cost changes.
Default terms: 10% deposit, progress payments if required.
GST added unless otherwise noted.
Full payment due on completion unless stated otherwise.
Default & Debt Collection
Overdue invoices sent to Marshall Freeman Collections.
2.5% monthly interest charged on late payments.
$50 or 5% surcharge on invoices overdue by 30+ days.
AJF may suspend or cancel services if terms are breached.
Agreed Uncontrollable Variations
AJF not liable for damages caused by other trades or pets.
Direct sunlight and misuse (e.g. harsh chemicals) not covered.
External work is weather dependent.
Low-cost coatings may have visual imperfections.
Some odour and dust particles are unavoidable.
Variations
All variations must be in writing and agreed upon.
Recolouring or additional requests will be re-quoted.
Defect Liability Period
AJF will rectify agreed defects reported within 30 days.
Site visits for non-AJF-related issues may incur charges.
Statutory & Manufacturer Warranties
AJF complies with NSW statutory warranty laws.
Material warranties handled by the manufacturer, not AJF.

By proceeding, the Buyer confirms:
Understanding of work process and expectations.
Responsibilities are clear.
They are available to inspect before final coating.
Acceptance of all outlined Terms & Conditions.
